Welocome to Costa Rica! In 2000 Scott Miller and I took a cruise and the last stop was Costa Rica. We spent a half day there and got on a bus to the airport and flew out.

From my limited memories, we got off the boat in the South Port of Limon. It was a very quiet port and not a lot of people. I know we went to a local bar, but I can not remmber the name. It was at the end of our trip so we just walked the beach and the town and left.
A very bumpy bus drive got us to the San Jose airport. First experience was the drug dogs sniffing my bags as soon as I got off the bus, second was wandering around the airport and seeing my luggage in a pile that anyone could take from...very bad experience.
